This is a somber Megapixel Monday and my heart goes out to our hockey community in Rhode Island. I honestly thought about going dark and not posting today, but that seems unfair to the players I photographed yesterday. So, I’m hoping by sharing that I bring some light on a day of darkness. On Sunday, I traveled to Lakewood Ice to catch the Idaho Jr. Steelheads U16 Girls team take on the Kachinas 16/19U AA group from Arizona. The teams turned in a 2-2 thriller that required some amazing saves on both sides to keep the score that low.
