CONCEPT: This piece started with the concept of presenting a student montage based on comments "Outstanding Graduate of the Year" nominees made in their essay submissions. We were also aware of a photography student who was a Marine shipped to Iraq. After deliberation, we decided on the final format of a parody of CNN Presents as the most coherent way to package the presentation.
