I'm a complete hockey nut. If I didn't have a family, I'd probably find a way to eat and sleep on the rink in addition to always playing on it. That's fairly odd considering I grew up in California. After watching hockey in my youth, I started playing in 1993. My wife, Karen, and both of our boys have all played on hockey teams.

One of my favorite memories was playing at the Honda Center on March 3, 2008. This photograph was taken by my wife as I started a break away from my own blueline. I finished the play by poking in my own rebound. It was a huge thrill to score a goal on the same ice where the Anaheim Ducks won the Stanley Cup.
